Description:
The Muskwa River Bridge project, located in Fort Nelson BC is a critical link to Slocan’s fibre supply. The project included the construction of a 1.5 km stretch of road including a 268-m bridge. A team commitment with the owner, engineer, road contractor and governing agencies ensured a successful project completed on time and on budget. The foundation for the project was executed during mid winter conditions. The superstructure steel was launched all from one side during summer months.

Duties:

Provide project construction team to deliver a safe and on schedule project.

Responsibility:

Prepare construction procedures, execution of safety and operational plan. Procure and deliver materials in a synchronized manner. Work with all stakeholders to deliver the project on time in harsh winter conditions.

Relevant Skills: Working with a client to deliver a product, which satisfied all schedule and design needs, while bringing the project in under budget.
Safety & WCB Record: This project required the constant flow of construction traffic through the site, detours and signage insured no incidents.
Environmental Record: All work was completed within the guidelines presented by the controlling agencies.
Quality Management Experience: All materials and services supplied to specification.
