Description:
The construction of a 130m long x 9m wide multi span structure with a cast in-place concrete deck over the Murray River near Tumbler Ridge. This project was constructed in the mid winter season due to environmental and pier access reasons.

The foundation consisted of concrete filled rock socketed piling. The superstructure was a four girder steel section launched as a complete unit into place.

Ruskin value engineered a cast-in-place pre-cast form which allowed for the timely completion of the project a mere 6 weeks from award. Once the cast in-place deck was completed a high density overlay was installed and successfully cured in late winter conditions...
