Description: Ruskin construction was hired to perform emergency repairs and install a new berthing dolphin at a gypsum mine in central Baja, Mexico. The project involves mobilization of equipment and materials to a remote location on the Baja peninsula. Due to the rough sea conditions Ruskin are building a 450 foot work bridge out to the ship loader beam that was destroyed by a berthing ship and will construct a new piled support and concrete cap. Once completed, the work bridge will be extended to allow for the construction of a new berthing dolphin. Complicated ground conditions require that a lot of the piles be drilled to reach the necessary penetration.
