Description:
Petro Canada required a waste water
line under the Strathcona Pedestrian Bridge (1100 ft. long) and the Ainsworth
Pedestrian Bridge (934 ft. long) to take waste water from the city to the
refinery. The Strathcona was completed by building a walkway the entire length
of the underside of the bridge. The Ainsworth was completed using a mobile
trolley we designed specifically for this project, which clamped underneath the
bridge and moved like a caterpillar. The entire project was completed in two
months with no accidents.
