Description: The Bow River Bridge is part of the twinning of Highway #1 through the Banff National Park Corridor. The project involved design and installation of sheet pile retaining walls as well as MSE abutments walls. The two-span bridge is set on a 38" pile foundation for the centre pier, 30" pile foundation for the abutments and 24" pile foundation for the wing wall. The superstructure is pre-cast post tensioned I girders with cast in place diaphragm and cast in place Silica Fume Bridge Deck.
