Environmental Policy
- The preservation of natural resources and the health of our non-built environment is important to our organization. While conducting operations we shall consider the appropriate protection of biotic communities, including human, animal and plant life; air, water and soil.
- Ruskin Construction is committed to proactive planning techniques, incorporating an integrated management approach to achieve unity between respective stakeholders and agencies, resulting in a common goal for the collective good.
- We conduct training to alleviate potential harm and expect all persons to do their best to avoid and prevent negative impacts upon the non-built environment.
- Our goals on the job can be met without risking harm to the non-built environment.
- Where there is uncertainty and/or potential for environmental damage, we will conduct post-construction assessments, monitoring and follow-up procedures to re-assess quality and effect of development.
- We shall use, store and dispose of products in such a manner that will provide appropriate protection to the environment.
- Management will develop and enforce good environmental standards in accordance with relevant legislation.
- Workers will be kept informed on how to do their jobs in such a manner as to cause minimum environmental harm and waste of materials.
- Where possible, we shall recycle and promote the use of recycled products.
